จากลักษณะที่คนไข้แจ้ง มีโอกาสเป็นโรคต่อมน้ำเหลืองที่ขาหนีบอักเสบติดเชื้อครับ ซึ่งส่วนใหญ่มักสัมพันธ์กับโรคติดต่อทางเพศสัมพันธุ์ ในกรณีที่คิดว่าไม่มีความเสี่ยงแนะนำให้ทานยาฆ่าเชื้อ เช่น coamoxiclav นาน7วัน ส่วนกรณีที่มีความเสี่ยง หมอแนะนำให้ไปตรวจเพิ่มเติมที่โณงพยาบาล เพื่อทำการตรวจวินิจฉัยหาการติดเชื้อทางเพศสัมพันธ์และให้การรักษาที่เหมาะสมต่อไปครับ
